Usually head lice but the pubic louse (Phthirus pubis) may be involved when the hair tools are used on the pubic hairs. Mycotic (fungal) infections can also be transfered with shared brushes and comb.

Nits and lice can only live on hair, So if you are sharing a brush take the hair off first, if there are any left on the brush they will just die.

you can transfer NITS AND LICE using a communal comb or brush You should have been taught this at a young age
