The alternative to a democracy is either a dictatorship or a theocracy. You can have either George Bush or Castro or the President of Iran. For all of his faults I would rather have George Bush than either one of the other two.

Christians that vote show they care about the country in which they live and if voting smart, can really set a good example. For instance: making sure to vote out godless liberals that want to turn this country into the United States of Europe.

People that do not vote are either lazy, uninformed, unmotivated, or completely disconnected from reality. A democracy only works if you have a base of smart educated moral voters.

Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. -Romans 13:1

If nothing else, voting signifies participation in governance. To not vote is to submit to the whims of people in power. I don't know about you, but controlling those in power is important to me, whether I have God or not, and therefore politics is not worthless. Should Christians vote? A pointless question. Everyone should vote. I am foremost c) a human being.

From everything that I have read in the Bible - especially seeing Jesus' example of remaining neutral in earthly politics (references available) - no Christians should not vote.

Since I believe that God's Kingdom is a real government - I put my allegiance in that government not man-made ones.

I am first and foremost a human being that owes her life to God.

I think christians should be concerned about voting. Despite having a God - you still have to live the human experiance and people would want that experiance to be as good as possible. Just because you have God & Religion does not mean you are apathetic toward the rest of your earthly existance.

And no - - I am not christian.

All of the above. If Christians don't vote, then the "other side" will get what it wants - ACLU. Voting is an obligation and a privilege. Too many died for us to keep that right to throw it away.

I think that Christians should vote to help keep a worse heathen from taking office. If we don't vote, then we have no right to complain about who is in office, if we do vote, and the other person gets in office we can gripe our heads off.
I am a human living in America as a Christian

A Blessed Child of GOD and Brother to My saviour Lord Jesus as we both be Heirs to the throne of the Creator. I was favored to be born in America, blessed to be "re-born " in America and choose to follow the will of GOD who both knitted me together in the womb of my Mother thence chose to Call me to return to the Kingdom for eternal celebration. Am further Blessed to serve my God via serving my fellow beings until the Kingdom Lord calls HIS children home to Heaven! Since their is no part of me that is visibly designated to be separate from GOD then surgical removal is moot. As to voting or politics; should I step aside and let the pagan make the rules for me without representing me? never! See where Ghengis Khan took paganism! I will vote as much for myself as for my neighbor's freedom of privilege to be represented in this country . And I challenge all that read this to practice the same!!

Dude,
God says be faithful with the little things (stuff of man, on earth) or you are simply not trustworthy with things of heaven. That includes voting responsibility.
The duty of a servant is to be faithful.
