Aparently you are frustrated with India getting the lime light these days. But, please ask yourself why would you God make them and keep them alive and keep them nourished if they had no use?

As a Muslim I see all people as a color in the beautiful live carpet of the Most High Allah (SWT). People from India are no different from people in other lands. There are some exceptionaly good people, some evil but by and large the vast majority of the people are minding their own business and doing the daily mundane chores like anyone else.

I must say that the people of India are tolerant for sure. I have seen in Hyderabad, India, the roads are blocked for the Muslims to pray on the streets, especially in the month of Ramadan. Adhans are blaring from many speakers. Even Turkey, a Muslim country does not allow such liberal policies. You may not be aware of a lot of facts about India and are only focussed on the negative information you may have received.

Also remember that at the current time (or for all times?) India is the only Country in the World where the President of a predominantly Hindu nation, is a minority (Muslim) and the Prime Minister is also a minority (Sikh) and the chief of the ruling national party of India is also a minority (Christian) and a foreigner (Mrs. Sonia Gandhi). Can you show me another country ANY WHERE in the WORLD at ANY POINT IN THEIR HISTORY, where the majority of a country would willingly vote their top leaders from a minority. True that the majority did not directly voted for them, but the system in India allows them to be in power legally and the majority of the people are not objecting to this, in fact I have not heard any complaints even from the religious extremists on the Hindu side. I can not believe they have not realized this glaring fact.

I would love for you to answer this. India's primary asset is its freedom of religion. Does India not have religious bigots and intolerant jerks? Indeed it does. Show me a place where these bigots do not exist.

I would like you to please consider these facts with a cool mind and in all fairness. Please also know that I am a dedicated Muslim, not an "uncle Tom" type of a person. I speak the truth as I understand it and in boldness but fairness is very important to me and justice is very important for a true Muslim.

The Quran says speak for truth and justice, even if it is against your own interests. If more Muslims would follow the Quran, we would have people loving us too.

How can you say that they are the worst people in the world? What bad had they done to you? I am sorry with what you feel about them. I have a suggestion to make for you... why don't you go and meet all kinds of people in your neighborhood or if possible travel around the world. If possible still, where Hindus and Buddhists are. I know there will be bad and there will be good anywhere you go. It is only for you to be aware that the worst and the best of people are present anywhere you go. In that case, you might even find within yourself that each one has the right to be himself and to be accepted as he is. I do not belong to any of the race you mentioned but I have met many among them as beyond good people.

I can't speak about Hindus or India, never been there. But Buddhism (at least in Thailand), contrary to other organized religions, is a not a money machine. Every temple and monastery has an offering alter in front, near the road. This is not for Buddha, it's so the monks eat today. They're totally reliant on the populous for their sustenance.

Also, becoming a monk (usually for a short period of time...like 1 month) is encouraged in the young people. It creates a population of peaceful, sweet natured adults.

I wouldn't change my religion...no point. But Buddhism is alright with me. I like those people.
