No kitten is "free". In order to take proper care of a kitten he needs to be examined by a vet, tested for serious feline diseases, have a series of shots to prevent distemper, plans need to be made for the big expense of spaying or neutering.
Go to your local animal shelter where many of these services have already been taken care of, their adoption fee is usually about half of what you would pay with your "free" kitten.
If you take one from an irresponsible person who is letting their cat breed you only encourage the practice. Your taxes pay for the operation of the shelter so use your money wisely.

The Humane Society will let you adopt a cat for $60 with all shots and already spayed/neutered and you will be rescuing the cat.

The best way to find cats for sale is PennySaver USA. Com. It has plenty of information on cats and other animals that sell at a low price. It worked for me I bought a puppy for $30. Good luck!

Check your local paper in the Pets section. There are probably a ton of Free to Good Home kittens; or check with your local humane society, they won't necessarity be free, but the price you pay in most humane societies includes vaccinations and spaying/neutering.

Is this a joke? There are a million unwanted cats in this country. You can find them on every street corner where I live. They multiply faster than the national debt!!!!!!!!
I can't imagine actually having to "pay" for a cat.

,Look in your local newspaper you shouldn't have to pay to get one. You can get one for free at the animal control facility in your city. They might charge you to get them fixed. The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals can probably help you one find for free also. Once you get your cat get it (fixed) spayed so it won't breed uncontrollably.
