I don't think it would be a good idea. You will only get more interested in him and if things come to worst, you could destroy a family. You are still on time...don't do it.
How would you feel if you were married and a woman decided to start emailing your husband? There are so many unmarried men, you should look into emailing a single man.

I think you shouldnt email him you dont know if his wife will be reading his emails and will cause you trouble the last thing you need is trouble. Also, no offense but you need to have more digniity and pride your beautifu inside and out all women are and we should show that. Any man would be lucky enough to have a women who has pride and dignity . As well, if you were married you wouldnt really want your husband sneaking around emailing another woman would u.? think about it before you take that step into a relationship with a married man. last but not least if hes gonna sneak around and talk to you u dunno if hes sneaking around talking to other women as well.

Its ok to chat w/ the guy, especially if its work related. Some guys like having gals that are friends, even if they're married. Now, if you're trying to jump in the sack with him, you've entered a much riskier area. It all depends on your maturity and ability to control your urges. You probably know the answer already.

Say you email this man. Ok, that email leads to 'something'. He gets a divorce and marries you. Now he is your husband. Do you want other women emailing him just because they can't stop thinking about him?

When you feel as guilty as you obviously do, I think you know the answer must be no. Work contact means that you have a legitimate work reason to stay in touch. Do you?

if you really think it would be a work contact, then yes. But if you can't stop thinking about him for other purposes then you would be going down a different road.
Its then a judgment call, is he interested in the conversation about extending your friendship to more?
good luck

With the guilt in your question, I think you know the answer is no. You sound like you have a good moral compass and you know the right thing to do.
