Usually a late night snack is something from the fridge, not something from the freezer.

The real question is "Does the light stay on when the fridge closes?" I know they say it does, and when you push the little button the light goes off. But, still, unless you climb in the fridge, how do you know for sure?

There is a light in the fridge cause it's the main place where one keeps an assortment/variety of foods which make it necessary to see and define. The freezer usually has just a few products in it, like Ice-cream and frozen Tv dinners and does'nt require all that much visual aid.

Mine has one in both compartments.

good question!!

That makes me wonder, too.

Like when I want to get something at night, then I have to open the refridgerator to see the things in the freezer, lol. Maybe it's so cold in there that the lights will like shatter or something? No clue.
