I'm not a guy, but I have 2 brothers and they say they love a chase. Make yourself a little less available and see what happens.

Well, the chase kind of ended about a year ago when you first started dating; from what it sounds like, you want to move things forward or at least see if it will move forward.
I recommend doing two of the opposite: 1) Talk to him directly about it and see what he feels. Because he hasn't told you he wants to move forwards, doesn't mean he doesn't want to. 2) Give him some space; by doing so, you'll see if he is trying to give you the effort in your relationship. If he doesn't show that he wants to keep things going than maybe you should find a guy who would.

Well from experience I would have to say you get better results if they have to chase. And sounds like there is only one thing that will snap that man into shape. You have to be less available. And if that doesn't work, it's time to move on. He's just keeping you on a string because he can!

If you between16-21 I wouldnt cling to anybody. Your still young and got a whole life ahead of you. You may meet your real man latter in life. Then what. If you older then Id consider fighting it out if you really love him. Just make sure you think through it well. Youll be iight. I dont like not the "chace" or "cling" but "the real search".

Both "Clingy" and "playing hard to get" are undesirable. But they are not the opposites of each other. The opposite of clingy is Independent and the opposite of playing hard to get is accessible. So I would say be both independent and accessible!

The chase is what it is all about !!! Keep it interesting, like just a mm. out of reach.
Although he knows you habits by now, (one year and available) start hanging with your friends more.

Might be too late to change. Big shifts in behavior confuse the male of the species, don't you know?
Better to bring your concerns to his attention and see what he says, the better to decide your next move.

I made that mistake once. I wanted him to trust me so much, that I always made myself available. It made the both of us loose the flames quite quickly.
