Is she vomiting or passing gas (more than normal)?...does her stool appear normal? Most of the time, the grass itself will settle her stomach. If it is something that she just started, but otherwise she seems normal, I wouldn't worry too much. It is totally normal for a dog to eat grass. If it has been going on for a while, she might be getting into something (maybe a chemical) around your house. Otherwise, I would try switching her to a more balanced dog food. My dog has trouble with many types of dog food. If I don't keep her on pretty much a "natural" diet (no fillers or artificial preservatives) she gets upset stomach.

Cook white rice and boil hamburger (make sure there is little to no grease) then mix together. Give to your lab in small doses 3 to 4 times spaced out through the day. My Chesapeake eats grass all the time and my vet said as long as he is not throwing up it is not a problem. Just make sure that the grass is passing through your dogs system.

Here's a new twist - It can be completely normal! Canines, although typically thought of as carnivores, have come under debate as whether they chould be classified as carnivore or omnivore. They eat grasses and other vegetation when they eat herbivores. Your dog may just like grass or something else in the grass. Read your dog food ingredients and say "hello veggies". If he's obviously sick take him to the vet. My golden retriever ate grass for almost 12 years before she passed and she was always deemed in good gealth. She also ate, besides dog food and grass, rice like many suggest, wild onion, buttercups, berries(wild and given to her), flowers that she liked, garlic plants. She also ate from my hand, brocolli, carrots, bananas, popcorn, cherries, raspberries, and others.
Don't worry too much about it unless the dog is obviously sick.

Well you may have to bite the bullet and go to the vets if it gets worse or other symptoms arise. For instance vomiting and blood in stools can be a sign of hook worms. Or something that won't go away untreated. My vet recommends boiled hamburger, rice and kidney beans. My dogs love it too lol

Is she acting like her stomach doesn't feel well too, or just eating grass? My Lab will graze on grass even when she is feeling fine.

Just call a vet and tell them the symptoms and see what they say. You dont have to pay for a phone call.

try feeding a strict diet of 'bland dog food'. that's what my vet always gives us for our pit bull when he gets like that.

Please don't let your dog eat the grass. A lot of people spray fertilizers, etc. which can really harm dogs.
