WE need to confess them and leave them. My sins are..stealing, fornication, lying, idolatry, drunkenness, smoking, presumptuousness, spiritism, jealousy, fits of anger, cussing, unforigveness, pornoghaphy, divisions, relying on myself, haughtiness greediness, having a double heart, loose conduct..He that is confessing them and leaving them will be shown mercy.

The point is that many will not confess their sins to others.

James 5:16-20 Therefore *openly confess* your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may get healed. A righteous mans suplication, when it is at work, has much force. Elijah was a man with feelings like ours, and yet in prayer he prayed for it not to rain upon the land for three years and six months. And he paryed again, and the heaven gave rain and the land put forth its fruit.

My brothers, if anyone among you is misled from the truth and another turns him back, know that he who turns a sinner back from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.]

Most of the sins happened when I was a teenager, before I was baptized. but I still make mistakes. Also the point is to not practice sin.

Hebrews 10:26 For if we practice sin *willfully* after having received the accurate knowledge of truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left.

Proverbs 28:13 He that is covering over his transgressions will not suceed, but he that is *confessing* and leaving them will be shown mercy.

Matthew 6:14,15 For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, whereas if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Romans 7:18 For I know that in my flesh there dwells nothing good, for ability to wish is present with me, but ability to work out what is fine is not present. 19) For the good that I wish I do not do, but the bad I do not wish is what I practice. 20) If now, what I do not wish is what I do, the one working it out is no longer I, but the sin dwelling in me.

23) but I behold in my members another law warring against the law of my mind and leading me captive to sin's law that is in my members. 24) Miserable man that I am. Who will rescue me from the body undergoing this death.

25) Thanks to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!

Also, if a person is an anointed Christian, and has not willfully left his Maker, or willfully practiced sin, then he is declared righteous;

Romans 8:1 Therefore those in union with Christ Jesus have NO CONDEMNATION.

14) For all who are led by God's Spirit, these are God's sons. 15) For you did not receive a spirit of slavery causing fear again, but you received a spirit of adoption as sons, by which spirit we cry out ; "ABBA Father!" 16) The spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are God's children. 17_ If then, we are children, we are also heirs: heirs indeed of God, but joint heirs with Christ, ..

NOW, these ones who are *led by the spirit*...must continue in the confessing, repentant, forgiving condition. If not, they are hopeless;

Hebrews 6:4-8 It is *impossible* regards those who ..have become partakers of holy spirit..who have fallen away..to revive to repentance because they impale the Son of God afresh..and expose him to public shame.

This is after baptism.

God in His great mercy forgives our sins if we repent and make reparation for what we have done. I love the sacraments, but this one is often hard to receive because of pride.

If you are serious.... then this answer for you:
Man has no reply or simply can't interfere in God's decisions... Best source to know is His book... what He has said about such sinners.... This is the right source..
Like Bible, etc. Quran is His book too... God says in Quaran that it pleases Him intensely when a sinner approaches Him sincerely ... repenting (accepting the sin with determination of not repeating it)... He forgives the sinner and not only that .. converts the sin into good and reward earning deeds... Again if the sin gets repeated (as Satan deoesnot tolerate good deeds)... He is there to forgive... again if same sin gets repeated innocently... He can forgive....
For all these the main condition is that once must be the true believer (Believe in Allah, the Prophet Mohammed and all other Prophets including Jesus, Moses, etc. PBUT and believe in not only the Quran but bible and all the Books sent by Him, for the guidance of the mankind). All such religions are from our Creator... One in force for some time with a certain Prophet, then it goes and new Book and Prophet takes over, then the next one..... canceling the previous ones... So the final Book and Prophet is Quran and Mohd (pbuh).

God forgives our sins through the grace He gives us through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ. Once we pray and make Christ Lord and Savior of our life, then Christ has forgiven our sins and paid the price for them by His death on the cross and through His blood. When you are growing in your relationship with Christ, confess your sins to the Lord every day and He will forgive you. Repent from your sins also, that is extremely important!! God loves you and will help you through this. You just have to ask Him.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent His son into the world not to judge the world but to save the world through Him." John 3:16-17
I'm sure you've heard this piece of scipture before but this basically sums it all up for you. Jesus Christ was sent to earth by our Father God so that we don't have to be punished for our sins (since we serve a just and righteous God) but can experience freedom from punishment because Christ paid our debt when he was nailed to the cross and died. Now, if you believe this in your heart, then Christ (God) makes us a new creation. This doens't mean that we forget our pasts and all of a sudden become different people but it does mean that God doesn't hold us accountable to pay for the sins we've committed. We are made fresh and new and pure in His eyes. That doesn't mean eveyone else in the world may see us this way (I have a list of sins as long as yours) but it does mean that God is good, He loves us, and we can learn to forgive ourselves and pray to God that we can learn from our mistakes in order to improve our lifestyles... so that they may be more Godly... or less sinful. However, the goal is not sinlessness (if that's a word) but reaching for a relationship with God. This includes struggling to know who God is and eventually learning to give Him control of our lives. If He is in control there is a lot of freedom and peace in that.

Whoa.

Just a bit misguided there. I'm think you need to focus on process and get a foundation in source code.

Anger isn't a sin, or we'd've not seen the tipping of the tables of the moneychangers.

You were forgiven 2000 years ago, it's already done.

Don't confess to us, please, I don't wanna hear it. This is a spiritual journey not joining a 20 step program.

It takes an aware person to confess to anything. God's grace covers all our sins, no matter what they are. God forgives you when you confess your stuff. Eventually you to will forget them if you stop doing them and when you forgive yourself. It is faith that you will know that you are forgiven. Faith in something you can not see, not always hear but know is there by the peace that comes over you. As humans we slip and fall back into sin but as long as we keep trying to over come and just stop doing them - then you win and God is happy

I don't understand how relying on ones self is a sin. God is not always going to give you the answers to life. What would the point of life be if God did nothing but help you? Sometimes you have to take things into your own hands.

"Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit" (Acts 2:38).

don't confess your sins to us. we have no authority to forgive you only if you have done something toward us. I suggest you confess your sins to the right authority and God which you have sinned against.
