The Mormons actually have similar beliefs to the Catholics--however, they are mostly middle and upper class; thus there has not been a huge surge in their population.

2- As for "Poverty" that is a differant question, that may breed terrorism, but then that applies to all poverty stricken nations, Chinees, VietNamese, Mexican.....etc. i.e. that does not come with religion but with anti-greed, anti-exploitation, anti-occupation and quest for real global equality not Polar Globalism with shining promises. i.e. that comes with politics, and by the way:
