When it's the left that promotes social institutions such as welfare, education, and affordable healthcare. whereas the right seems to focus more energy on letting people keep the money that they make.
And yes, I know that not all christians are right wing. But anyone who hasn't heard the term christian/religious right before shouldn't be answering this question.

I think it is basically because of human life issues. Abortion, euthanaia, stem cell research, and also working for yourself are all things the right stands for. And so do Christians. If they have to choose between education or protecting the unborn, they vote for the candidate that protects life.

You are right, they make up the Bush administration. It should be called Bush's Ministers. Lol. Anyway, they are the ones that are passionate and vote, that is why things are the way they are. The Left wing is mostly atheist and democrats, strangely enough, the Republicans are suppose to be for increasing the budget and not federal funding on programs, yet they have been the biggest spenders out of all the parties. War, going to Mars? How is that saving money? Bush funds Churches and abstance only programs, totally inaffective also, and he lies about it too. God is on the right wing, but on the wrong side in reality. Extreme left wings aren't much better, well, yes they are. Still, I hope this whole plane of polictics would fall and crash already.

Christians do fall in all classifications, as you indicated, but yes favor the right (conservative) side more. The reasons are varied but a lot of it has to do with the more vocal left Representatives that tend to be more outspoken against Christianity and seem Godless and to support more Anti-christian positions. Therefore Christians tend to back whom they perceive to be more understanding of their Faith and positions with regards to moral issues. Naturally there are some very moral and Christian people on the Left side of politics but by and large the Left seems, and is perceived more, to be anti-christian. Just my perception and opinion.

Actually it's just the opposite of the first answer. Christians have an overwhelming sense of personal responsibility. The right wing tends to cater more to that than the welfare hippies on the left.

They have to find their imaginary gods in real persons. Since someone of no special talent being born rich and able to rule others for no reason could be interpreted as only justified because of God's will, which can't be questioned, natural they become right-wing, or slaves to the status quo.

Conservativism is about maintining the status quo...usually. Since Christianity is currently prosperous and strong, it stands to reason that many Christians will gravitate towards the conservative perspective.

I think the right wing Christians are just more vocal. 10 people screaming are a lot more attention-getting than 100 people just standing there.

Christians are often the most bigoted, closed-minded, unfair, judgmental, unloving, hostile self-righteous people I've ever met. They are quick to dump on anything that they're not used to being brainwashed on! They are soooo worried about gay people being around their children, when it's the chistians who are teaching kids the damaging things. ...Believing in your bible is one thing, but you shouldn't impose it on the world. It drives people apart and it doesn't work well when we should all be trying to love and accept one another without judgment or opinions. Why can't christians live and let live? Gays can do it!

Because right-wing conservatives hold similar ideals to that of the bible, family, hetero relationships, etc... Liberals tend to be more open minded, and accepting of things like abortion, gay rights, etc.

Being self righteous seems to be a facet of the right wing. Having the only answer, being dogmatic are all character traits of right wing demigods.
