I've had it purple before. I recently dyed it to it's natural color for senior pictures and I'm sick of it.
I want a change.
I don't have a job and have had trouble getting one in the past even though I have perfect grades, no facial piercings and great social skills.
I'm pretty pale and I have blue eyes, do you think I should dye my hair purple or a dark burgandy?

I've also had pink, black, red.
Rar.
I have a 4.0 and I'm going to be a senior.
Even as a brunette I couldn't get a job.
I am ready to try something a little more "grown up" though.

well if you are looking for a job, then i would hold back on the whole purple hair thing. maybe try dying it a different color than it is now (but still natural) or try some highlights. i know how you feel, i get really bored with my hair too, and people always tell me that it's different every time they see me! but you have to look at it from an employer's point of view if you are currently looking for employment. are they going to hire someone with purple hair or with a natural hair color. maybe get a job first, then ask your boss what the policy of colored hair is. some places actually have rules about unnatural hair colors.
hope this helps! good luck!

No...why not some strawberry blonde highlights? The drastic colors of purple, burgandy, green etc are for the adolescents out there trying to make a statement and get noticed. You on the other hand should be thinking of your future?..college?..a job?...personal relationships? You are an adult and it's time to be responsible for your actions and move forward! Your hair is pretty, natural but, some mild highlights will be socialby acceptable & will take you farther. Best of Luck to you!

If you like abstract but want a job, don't go purple. Go for an espresso brown with Carmel low lights. If you are a DIY girl, color the bottom half of your dark brown, the the top half, a light brown/blond color...
take your hair into sections (like when you wear it half up half down)
use the light color first on the top of your hair then the dark and color it the same time.
then, wash it out really quick concentrating on the lighter half first, you will enjoy the results!! Good luck sweetie.

Personally I love purple but unless you are getting a job at someplace like Hot Topic, it may be a problem.

I guess it all depends....... of you need to look professional for a job then it's time to grow up and ditch the purple hair...if you are still young and having fun......I say go for it while you can.

Dark burgandy

Purple. Way hotter. Expect it to lessen your chances of getting a job unless you are applying at a record store or Hot Topic, though.

my friend dyed her hair a deep purple blue and it lookd amazing. my advice is to make it deep... almost black. It looks especially beautiful this way, becuase in the light it looks purple-black with a purple sheen. Its not so alarming as bright purple, but it catches the eye. Go for it!

plus, for the losers up abovee who say its childish, deep purple is less noticable and generally more accepted at interviews. Anyway, odn't lose your style as you get older.

Keep yourself natural. When I see girls who have colored hair I think they're screaming for attention.
