I believe that being human means that you have a Physical (fleshly) body that contains and supports a created spirit. That inner spirit separates us from all the other animals and mammals and is alive and eternal and upon death of the body then passes into the spiritual realm / world. I think this is one meaning of man being created in God's image for God is Spirit but cannot be understood or comprehended by mortal man's limited mind and intelligence. I think though if a person reflects inward they know something is alive within their bodies other than flesh and blood and that is what continues to life and exist after death of the body.

Yep, I'm spiritual and believe in the soul. The soul to me is the heart of our feelings, our thinking, our knowledge of right and wrong and what we know. And I believe that once our body dies, the body is like a glove, and when it's worn out, the soul, like our hand, comes out of that body (glove) to go on to a better place.

Yes--we are all body fused with soul from conception. It is very interesting to think about where the body ends and the soul begins.
