why illegals have better cars than americans?

i work for a large corporation,and our janitorial staff is usually all mexican(its a staff that comes in,not hired by us)most of these people do not speak a word of english,i know from experience in trying to communicate with them,but at quitting time i see them go to thier cars and they have very nice cars,ive seen some in newer model lexus,cadillacs,newer model suv's,newer cars with fancy rims,im not making this up....i cant even afford a fancy car wash for mine...so curiosity has gotten the best of me,how do you afford nice cars while working as a janitor?if you think im being racist,thats your problem i just wanna know how i can drive a nice car while scrubbing toilets.and yes i know not all of them are probably illegal but im willing to bet alot of them are

I have seen this too. They usually live several families in one house. So the rent is cheap. They get free medical, free meals at school for their kids, thats breakfast and lunch, they have several children which puts them in a lower tax bracket, if they pay taxes at all, they get low income housing, low income utilities, and kinds of breaks that we don't have. Thats why they drive nice cars. They can afford them, while by the time we as taxpayers get done supporting them all we are barely making minimum wage. Bottom line.

In the area where I live. I can not tell someone who is illegal or not.

For most of the lower paying job people I see, they don't drive
anything that is out of the ordinary. I do see that some of them take very good care of their cars. They are willing to put on some fancy accessaries on it.

My guess would be they don't own a house cause they cannot afford the payment. A car is the most valuable possession thtey have, so they are willing to spend a bit more on it.

Also, many lower income people are very handy with cars. They may buy some salvaged vehicles and fix it up nicely.

From what I've seen where I live, you have several families living in one house. I really don't know how so many people can fit in a 900 sq foot home and usually it's falling apart. I'm guessing they save money on the house, get paid cash w/no taxes, get welfare, free medical, etc. So they save up their money and pay cash for the fancy cars. We always see the really nice cars in front of the dumpiest homes.

And no I'm not racist...My great grandpa came from Mexico. My family is hispanic. Truth is, illegals are getting a free ride. My family came here the legal way. They should have to do the same.

From an economic perspective, I don't understand some arguments posted here. (BTW, my reply applies to what is considered "poor", regardless of your legal status, ethnicity, or whatever).

I see a lot of replies that say "because they work 2-3 jobs". But I don't understand that logic... because if you are poor and need to work 2-3 jobs in order to survive, why would you blow $30-$40k on a fancy car?

Because they have their whole extend family living with them so many of the family members work and every one pitches in to buy things like cars and all the other good stuff that I can not even afford to buy.we Americans don't have our elders live with us there their pension or ssc can make a difference.

Maybe their real job is doing something much more profitable. Who knows or cares ,I got mine and all I care about is if they are here illegally or not .And I'm not sure where you live but here in AZ its not that way at all.
I don't care if they drive a Bentley as long as they are here legally.

because they work,make as much as you do,but they dont have to buy food,pay for doctors visits.they live 20 or more to a household,they have no car insurance.they dont pay taxes.and most of them get help with their housing and light bill and other utilities.it cost them nothing to live here. so they can affort a new car or truck.

Because they probably have 2-3 jobs, most of them are very hard working, and they work to be able to have nice things, I'm sure that's why most of us work, we just need to learn to manage our money and we could be driving a Lexus too.

Because they live 20 to a 2/2 bath home and share everything, thats the secret. One in the group usually has a really nice vehicle because he scams the others the best out of their money, usually tells them hes sending it home, but it all doesnt make it.WINK.Put an add in the paper for 20 illigals to roomate, and you will be rolling fat in no time..
