Weidos are weirdos. Some just happen to have religion as well.

I am a Christian and it bothered me like you wouldn't believe. Now I found it funny (especially at the end when she would not take the money, then found out how much it was and changed her mind; most fundamentalist Christian fanatics are that way), but it does bother me because her actions were precisely what Jesus told us not to do, and pushing people away from him was the reason why. If she does believe, she has done worse for Christianity and Jesus then if she were trying to stone one of us.
But like I said, most fundamentalists are this way. Tim LaHaye wrote the Left Behind Series, which has probably done more to push those who were thinking about switching to Christianity away from Jesus than anything else (even the Crusades or the Inquisition). Jerry Falwell acted so foolishly he even made a porn magazine editor with an addict stripper for a wife look like the smart one (Larry Flint). These guys need to realize what it is they are doing, they have become the Pharisees of God's modern people. And because of that, they have done far more harm to Christianity than anything else.

That is so sad and the woman is a freak.
Please notice the little girl sitting on the couch. She has pure terror in her face because of the rantings of this very sick woman.
The bible says the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. So this woman must have a lot of Holy Spirit because she is as big as a truck. What happened to taking care of the body as a temple for God?
Is all that fat and cholesterol choking her arteries and taxing her heart really honoring the Holy Spirit?
A God warrior? Try a God phony!
She is self-deceived and deluded by her faith.
Someone call a cop! Her family is in danger.

You have to realize that this woman was brought up to believe what she believes. If she had been born in China, she might be equally fanatical about Chairman Mao, for all we know. There are fanatics of every faith, every political party, etc. Do I find it disturbing? Yes, because her mind is not only closed to any new ideas about somebody else's religion, it is welded shut. The family she went to totally accomodated her, and she did nothing at all to accomodate them. Sad. I also think that this TV show creates situations in which post-traumatic stress disorder can be the result, so I do not watch it - although I did happen to see this one. I won't watch it anymore, as the results are deliberately designed to create conflict and I think this is an inexcusable thing to do to children. In "real life" most of these families wouldn't even meet each other, let alone allow their children to be taken care of by total strangers - now THAT is creepy!!!

If it just got to your small community know it is a re-run show. This would have me challenged not scared! Real Christians were cheering her on throughout the show to be a witness and example of how the Proverb woman can administer to her family even in strange circumstances. She knows as a Christian that GOD is still in charge and has given(Blessed) her with HIS Authority to be Victorious daily( hourly, minutely, too) for His Glory! PTL!

I couldn't hear the words, but her actions alone got the message across. definitely not how we're supposed to act & I feet so badly for her kids. not demonstrating Christ-like love or wisdom. I used to say Christians are the worst example of Christ, but then I learned to look to Him & not them & became a believer. It causes me to consider what I do & say because what am I accomplishing if I turn someone off? I pray she sees herself & repents & learns from it, as I learn from my mistakes.

Trading Spouses is against my religion to begin with.
Being any kind of Christian should have prevented her from even taking part in that farce.
Her husband should have grown some ..... & refused to participate.
Her church family should have confronted her about her decision & admonished her for the sake of her children & her witness.
Lots of "shouldas", but such is human nature (greed).
Unfortunately, we're not immune to it either.

That was some entertaining television though. What a freak. Did she learn to stop saying everything was evil by the end, I can't remember.

Do not imitate others, do whatever you feel is right.
People do know what's right or wrong.
Religions have nothing to do with trading spouses. Unless it is the Satanist Cult.

I think this is a negative trend that may have long term consequences for the children involved. Children need stability. I will not even watch that type of show because it goes against my beliefs completely.
