Jesus is not about frills and fancies, He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Jesus was not frills and fancies.

To answer your question though: Yes, you can come to that place.

If you continue seeking God and God's will, he will reveal to you that he sent his Son, and that you must go to him first before you can reach the Father.

This has been my direct experience. That is, it isn't my personal little fairy tale. I believed in God, and God let me speak to him for so long, and then he barred the path and kept pointing me to his Son. Until I accepted Jesus, I no longer had access to God.

Sure, Satan believes in God (but he won't be in heaven), you can believe in anything you would like (look at evolution) but believing in God will not get you to heaven or put you in fellowship with God.

The only way to the Father is through the Son. God can not look upon sin, all men have sin, the only way to fellowship with God is if the blood of Christ covers your sin and you are in Christ righteousness.

Hey, he died for you, you may won't to talk with him about this stuff, but I wouldn't try to skip the Jesus part.

What exactly was Frilly or Fancy about Christ?
He remains untouchable in regards to historic people, who lived a life of humility, and austerity.

Don't let the ignorance of boisterous fundies alienate you from the simplicity of Christ and his ministry..

Yes. When you realise you are your own god and in control of your own destiny and morality, not following some other outdated form of mass slavery.
