No, really, compromise is the best way. Not selling yourself out, but meeting in the middle.
Good luck!

1. It really depends upon circumstances. You must first decide how important it is & whether you are willing to die on that hill.
2. If the suggested compromise is absolutely unreasonable, you have every right to voice your objection, citing reasons.
3. Any compromise that greatly inconveniences you, or makes your life harder, is unacceptable.
4. Don't seeth — politely let others know where they stand with you. Some times people are ignorant of their social limits with other people & have to be informed. Things go a lot smoother when everyone knows where they stand with eachother.
5. If it's not a work-related situation, walk.

Well they always say if you cannot beat 'em join 'em!
You gotta be a little unselfish, I feel that I have to do something with my husband once a month to comprise with him and he has to do the same with me. SO that girly moive that just came out than yes he has to go with me and i have to go do something with him that he wants to do. If you love somebody and you want to make it work, Say ok dear and do what he wants, you will be the best "wife" ever or girlfriend. I know I get mad too but I have learned in the last 4 years of marriage you cannot blow up and get mad you just gotta take a breathe and say to yourself this isn't going to be bad I can do it! :)

What is being done unto me? Why am I feeling angry? How can I keep from causing an embarrassing scene? How do I control myself,so that I don't get my self into a big mess? When, shall I shut my mouth and walk away, to help myself gain control of this situation.

no, Like in a traffic jam and someone still rams up your but.
Sometimes you just have to say "Eh... Screw It" and go to town on their face with your steering lock.
This Will Aslo Serve As A Good Lesson For Others Not To Screw With You At That Time Of the Month.
P.S... HOPE THIS HELPS.

If you're dealing with a loved one, and the compromise doesn't violate one of your core values, then it's fine because it will bring harmony.

If you want to get mad...then I guess compromising about something would help you keep your cool so you wouldn't want that. But I wouldn't ever advise getting mad...on purpose.
