The day after Thanksgiving. Most of your major electronics stores offer huge deals on this day. You may have to get up at 4:00 in the morning to make it to the store before they are all gone but sometimes it's worth it.

Between Dec 26 and the date for the Consumer Electronics Show (Jan 8-11) when all the new stuff gets shown to the industry. The new stuff is what a lot of people want, so they hold off buying until it becomes available.

That timeframe is when retailers are trying to move all their obsolete inventory, which remained unsold by Christmas but before the new (overpriced) products hit the retail shelves in late Jan to March.

Good deals on black & white TVs, VCRs and AM radios. ;-)

none really. electronics are always coming out with something newer or better than the last so it's kind of hard to say. don't even think about christmas time cuz you'll probably pay more and not even realize it. if there was a "time" that electronics are cheap i would have to say probably the early months of the year like Jan-April. not much really goes on around that time so most stores will try and liquidate their inventory as quick as piossible.

Depends on the type of electronics. For home theater stuff, shop around the Super Bowl. Best deals are offered then.

After the holidays, like x-mas and labor day, you may be able to get good deals. Also, this time of the year when college students are heading back to school may be a good time to take a look and see if you can get a deal.

For televisions it's right before the Super Bowl. Otherwise you will probably want to try in December during the Christmas rush.
