DONT DRINK WATER!!!! IT MIXES WITH THE ALCOHOL AND CAN MAKE YOU SICK OR GET YOU DRUNK ALL OVER AGAIN!!!

there are these pills called "chasers" they are supposta fight off a hangover, (you can find them at convenience stores for cheap)i didn't think they would work but on my local news we have a thing called deal or dud and they had spring breakers use it in Cancun and according to the kids they never felt better after a night of partying. but i don't personally know if they work cause i cant get a hangover no matter how much i drink, so i guess I'm just lucky.

also you can do the tried and true method of what ills ya will make you stronger and if you wake up in the morning with a hang over drink what ever it was that you were drinking the night before and its been said to make you feel better, that's what my uncle does, he has always been a big drinker. i hope this helps!
have fun in mexico, drink one for me!

I have tried all of the above suggestions and while I cannot speak for anyone else, the simple truth for me is that if I drink too much at night the next day I will feel it. There are some methods to make it less severe, but nothing completely prevents a hangover after too much booze. Keep in mind that I am only saying how it affects me.

There is that No-Hangover stuff you can get at a drug store. If you can't find it, try the stuff you are supposed to take before you get on a plane to avoid jet lag. If you do not want to try these then do this:

Before you start drinking eat a substantial amount of food. Eggs and bacon are best; anything greasy to coat your stomach. Make sure you do not get dehydrated. This is a big part of what causes a hangover.

The very best thing is to breathe in oxygen - like from an oxygen tank, this works wonders, but I guess it would be kind of hard to bring an oxygen tank to Mexico. A dentist in Mexico may have one, especially if he give nitrous oxide in his treatment.

Your trip sounds fun, good luck.

I believe some people mentioned taking aspirin before going to bed. DON'T do this. Until the alcohol is out of your system, taking aspirin on top of this will do more damage to your liver than just the alcohol alone. Drink water inbetween drinks. Try drinking Gatorade or some other sports drink before and after bed. The sports drinks help prevent dehydration, which is the main cause of hangovers. Oh, and you can also go to your local drug store before you go and get some of those hangover remedy pills. Or even try some of that "Head On" stuff you rub on your forehead. Not sure if that one works but let us know if it does.

I've heard what most people say on here... drink water! My brother told me that to avoid a hangover, drink a glass of water after every drink you have. Drinking alcohol makes you dehydrated, and that's what causes a hangover. So getting rehydrated after every drink will help. Although drinking in moderation instead of getting wasted would be the better thing to do, but that's just my two cents.

Drink a glass of water for for every cocktail you consume, you may spend alot of time peeing but it is works! Also if you eat something that absorbs it and take two aspirin. Avoid mixers with drinks IE: coke, sprite, diet coke, the caffeine keeps you awake and doesn't let you get a good nights rest. But of course the best answer is don't drink too much but what fine is there in that? Party on!

Hi! I recently saw in the GNC stores some natural pills that you must drink BEFORE the partying, and produces 0 symptoms.
Never tryed it, though, but being from the gnc store must be good.

Another remedy from a chilean professor that I've tryed and recommend a lot (you know in Chile they drink a lot of wine) is to drink 2 tablespoons of olive oil before the partying... It gives you chance to drink a lot more and no headaches in the morning...
Might sound ugly, but DOES NOT taste that bad..

IN BETWEEN EACH DRINK HAVE A GLASS OF WATER. A HANG OVER IS CAUSE BY DEHYDRATION FROM THE ALCOHOL, SO IF YOU DRINK WATER THROUGH OUT THE NIGHT WHILE YOU ARE DRINK THAT WILL HELP KEEP YOU HYDRATED. YOU MAY HAVE A HEADACHE BUT NO THROWING UP. AND IN THE MORNING EAT SOMETHING SPICY HOT FOR BREAKFAST THAT BURNS THE ALCOHOL OUT TO.

Have a drink in the morning after getting up.

I forget the whole logistics behind this rationale but having a drink in the morning tricks your body and does help with the hangover.

If you don't want to be sick, there is no way to prevent that except don't drink over your limit. There is no "magic" that will allow you to drink and drink and not get sick. You need to realize your limits, and not pass them...

I did hear that if the last drink you have is a glass of water it will help ease the hangover the next day.

Good luck, and be safe!
