...I'm really attracted to her as she looks, especially her body (she's a dancer) but not quite so romantically interested in her because of her personality (which is actually really chatty and friendly...)? Maybe she should be just a friend.. I find the idea of having a steady girlfriend quite alien (history of short relationships)

Date her. Tell her you're not looking for anything serious. If she sticks around, let her.

Have you ever seen the film "Fatal Attraction"? The funny thing is that she probably likes you because your not really that bothered. I've been in exactly the same situation a number of times and I've always done them, felt guilty/regret, turned phone off when they call for a few days. Ironically you got them even more than before when you do eventually answer the phone and they ripping your clothes off as soon as they step thru your door. Seriously though I have had to move house because I was sick of unwanted interest so my advice is be careful!

It sounds as though if you give it a chance, her personality might just become more important to you than her looks and things could really work out. Most of us do go out with someone who we're physically attracted to at first and the relationship grows from there.

A date is only a date so give it a go but don't lead her on. Good luck!

I think you should turn her down. You can easily mislead her and leave her in shite.
