WELL NO SUCH THING IN DIGITAL CABLE .YOU WILL NEVER FIND ANY PROBLEM AT ALL
WHERE AS IN SATELLITE COMMUNICATION THERE ARE UP AS WELL DOWN FREQUENCIES FOR TRANSMISSION AND LATER SOME WHRE ELSE YOU PICK UP THE BROAD CASTING .THERE WIL BE ATLEAST SOME LOSS DUE TO LITTLE LESS MICRO WAVE ABSORPTION .
DUE TO THIS WE MAY FEEL A MINOR PROBLEMS WILL BE THERE

Macroblocking can occur on all broadcasts. That is because it often originates in the program source or in the network feed itself. Also, cable gets their local station signals from the station. If the station is limiting the bandwidth of their signal (to add a lot of subchannels, for example) you wiil get macroblocking on cable and satellite.
