No they are not. By their culture and history they are extremely submissive to their government as a whole.

No , they don't have a leader that has the guts and money to do it . The whole government is corrupt from top to bottom . If they ever got it together , Mexico could be a great country . They have a lot of national resources , but nobody seems to want to invest in making their government work properly for the people .
This could be a lesson for Americans to learn from , with all the greed and selfishness in our government to day , we could be heading for national corruption here , like Mexico .
A failure to enforce the laws , by putting Corporations above the lives ,health and wealth of the American People , that's wrong and it's heading in the wrong direction .

I don't give a flying f-(k about what Mexico is on the path to, as long as they keep it there.
I think the USA ( it's citizens) are on the verge of a Civil war against illegal immigrants if the government doesn't get control on the situation. We do not have to sit on our hands and do nothing while our government turns a blind eye to the actions of this illegal entity. When they fly a flag of another country on our FEDERAL Post Office, federal school, that is an ACT OF WAR!!

No.

The social caste system in Mexico is too deeply entrenched.

Mexico's tremendous wealth (yes, the nation is quite wealthy in oil and other natural resources) is held by a handful of industrialists, land owners and bakners...Meanwhile the "have-nots" are taught to accept their second-class life or find opportunity in another country.

As in other caste cultures like India, the "have-nots" in Mexico are not socially conditioned to "rise." Without this instinct, there is little impuse for an armed uprising.

Mexico is planning to develop a new national Marketing campaign with the intent of spinning the image hip & pimpin. The name change goes into effect in 2008 --- "Plexico". I know it's true because I read it on the internet.

we should make our borders harder to cross - if Mexico has a civil war we could let the Mexicans here come back and fight.
Look no one hates the Mexicans - we are just worried about social security and taxes - all we ask pay for your rights as we all have to - no free rides.

I do not know really... but Iraq is. I think the USA has quite a bit to handle with Iraq and it's civil war right now.

No way. Once the court announces the name of the elected president within the next couple of weeks, it all will be over for Andres Manuel Lopez and his subversive movement.

No, Mexico cannot have a civil war....The average citizen cannot bare arms....How can they have a civil war? They would be slaughtered by the federal police....Besides Mexicans are pacifists, they believe in protest, not war....

Who cares? It's their country, it's their job to make something out of it. Not my job to fix their problems.
