If you don't believe in God that's fine (He still luv's you anyway), people are entitled to their own opinion and God isn't forcing you to believe in him. But for me, reading post from people who have something against God only strengthen my faith because it makes realize what a treasure I have in Christ. And you know what the weird thing is? Jesus said this would happen... I know it's the beatitudes when he said "blessed are you how are persecuted from My name sake." So fellow believers keep ure head up, Jesus warned us about this anyway. :)

I think that the fact that you stand fast in your faith without wavering has already got you as close to Jesus as one can get.
Speaking for myself,I hope I'll be able to be like you!.

God Bess you. In my opinion, reading it does not bring you closer to God, but your love for him and what you believe in your heart will keep you close to him. Reading about it will make you realize how many people there are out there who still need your prayers. When I read all the ignorant answers to your question, it does not surprise me and I say ignorant because they answer in such a disgusting way because they don't want to accept or give you the freedom to believe what you want. Why is it that they don't just simply say to you, that is your belief, but I feel differently and that is that? They have to sound so hateful because you shared your opinion about God and your relationship with God. It would be nice to see them stop hating so much. No one is telling them that they have to believe, but they can at least respect your beliefs. Continue to be thankful for having God in your life. I know I do.

so the same too for the muslims ,their messenger did tell them so, in their holy book-and the rest of the other beliefs as well -nothing weird

So will we all shut the doors and keep to ourselves?
Then What's god purpose of creating many different races, religions and putting them all in one small room?

self encouragement is good but whatever for if we can't make a stand sincerely
whatever beliefs we may be believing,we'll just remain forever a follower, a believer or a worshipper for the rest of our lifes so leave no stone unturned.

I use this site as a way to do more intense Bible study. So yes I feel it is making me closer to God. Not only that but I pray that maybe one un believer may read an answer and rethink there faith. If we save one soul on here then my time wasnt waisted.

Absolutely. Non believers have good points too. What lead me closest to Jesus is my own experiences with him. The Bible is myth, it is a fable that encourages us to know God for ourselves. When we embrace the spirit of Christ within our own being we change. Not out of fear but out of pure compassion and connectedness. Those non believers our a reflection of ourselves and of the spark of divinity that lives within all living creatures.

Since when was Jesus God? God is the ultimate creator...Jesus is just the son, like all His children. This is one time I would like to see scripture to that effect.

You'd be better off visiting your dead relative in the graveyard. At least you would actually be closer to them. And know for sure they really lived at one point in time.

amen brother!

even though i understand those that rail against us and their love for this site so that they can continue the work of satan. by their attacks there is always the chance that they will turn away a new believer who is not yet strong in his/her faith.
