so even if God sent down Angels or let the dead talks to people they will still not believe except with a permission from God?

Quran 6:111
[111] And even if We had sent down unto them angels, and the dead had spoken unto them, and We had gathered together all things before their very eyes, they would not have believed, unless Allâh willed, but most of them behave ignorantly.

I wish people here would stop being rude to people of other faiths. Think about the quote. Understand what it says:

Even with all the miracles in the world, most would not believe but act ignorantly unless God wills it to be different.

Can you argue with that?

Now that begs a bigger question: why does God will that most people act ignorantly?

Thank you for sharing that verse. It does give me something to think about.

Peace

Ignorance defined= without knowledge(information): Acting? uninformed! usually that refers to Stupidity,as in 'he is only acting stupid because of you'
Stupid def.= Having knowledge, but choosing not to accept the information.
So one is either informed or Not! Acting not required!
Permission; see Blessing!

Yep, some people refuse to believe, even when it comes up and slaps them in the face and fixes them breakfast.

"coincidence" or "some hoax" is usually the type of excuses they give.

We are all specks on a speck in this vast, unimaginable Universe!

This is similar to the saying that says,

"We are all ants waiting to become Princes or we are all Princes waiting to become ants!"

The God indeed must OK everything.

Strange the Quara'n should mention The God.

I must have missed that reference-- the Quara'n usually only mentions the mood god called allah.

oh yeah, that's logical - if you don't believe it is because god doesn't want you to believe

sorry, can't buy that

So much for free will. I guess Muslims don't have any. Fortunately, YHWH DOES allow us to choose Him.
