He loves you. They bring you these animals to provide for you. They see you as there family and you are apart of there "pack" and instinctively want to provide for you.

When I was a kid, our neighbors had the dominant neighborhood tom. One day, he brought a dead mouse down our driveway. My dad saw it and decided to praise TC for his hunting skills (petting, "that's such a good kitty!", etc.). From then on, we'd be welcomed by some manner of dead animal outside our back door at least once a week. My dad regretted ever opening his mouth, lol.
He's bringing you gifts:) I'm surprised they're alive as most of TC's were dead. But then, he did bring my friend and I a live baby rabbit once. It was a little horrifying, but it was only in his nature.
Now your cat is actually bringing them INTO the house? That's gross....I'd be perturbed. How is he getting in? A cat door? If that's the case, you can either keep him inside, or remove the cat door. And make sure anyone letting him in checks him very closely before doing so.

Your cat is a good hunter and just doing what comes naturally. Dead mice are one thing, live ones are a problem. You might close the cat door for a while and check your cat's mouth before letting it inside.

It is the nature of the cat to do that. Actually, it is a compliment to you. The cat is showing you that he is protecting you from the vermin out there. If you don't like it, keep the cat indoors.

It is a gift. They love to do that. We had a cat that would stand at our screen door and toss the dead mice at the door. He did it until we went to the door and did our good kitty praise for him. He was so proud of himself.

The only time our cat brought live animals in the house was when her kittens were in the house, I suppose to teach them to hunt. In addition to the kittens learning to hunt , WE also learned how to catch chipmunks in the house.

Your cat is bringing you "gifts" of what he considers good food. :) If you want to stop it, you can keep the cat indoors, or put a collar with a bell on him.

Your cats is showing his appreciation towards you, he loves you and that is their way to show it. I had a neighbor whose cat used to go outside all the time and he used to bring "bats" to my door.
