I think someone may be a bit more offended by another person wearing their scarf because they wanted to look good. Religious garb means a lot to those who wear it, and a lot of people may be offended if what they wear becomes fashionable and people wear it for the wrong reasons. It would be like taking the Bible and turning into a mainstream, lighthearted and modern novel and selling it at Barnes and Noble - many, many Christians would be outraged and offended. Not everyone would be offended if someone wore their religious dress to look cool - those who wouldn't be offended would probably just laugh it off.

If someone wore skimpy clothes or wore a vulgar head scarf because they wanted to look good and be "deep" and kept saying things like "wearing this is so cool, and good for my hair".

Dressing should be, and must be a personal choice. In many cases, this is unjustifiably controlled by religion. If a person believes that his dressing is good, and he/she appears really good, its just OK. By no chance, religion have a say in this. Actually, all of us know what is there beneath the dress... Really, the character matters, not the dressing style.

Neither is offensive to me. People have the right to dress as they want, even if that means birth suits. I have no problem with that.

depends on what country your in! i am HIGHLY offended when people come to the USA and do not Adapt to the Social climate, i have no ill feelings toward anyone due to race, religion, or creed BUT when i see a muslim woman in the UNITED STATES leave the house like they would in a MUSLIM country it ticks me off!!! we in the usa have fought for EQUAL rights for women and that doesnt me cover yourself from head to toe because your muslim man said you have to! if i were to move to another country i would learn and follow there customs and i think people coming to the USA should do the same.

God has given every person right to decide what is right and wronge for oneself. So if one feels that she is doing good by showing skin to unknown person and that to just for fashion ...let them do as they wish... God is there to punish who do not obey them....every one is answerable for his own wronge deeds to God......
