This site is such a great idea! I can ask any question and get like 50 different answers pronto, from 50 different view points. Which makes it so much better than a biased source like say, a history book.

The only drawback is having to filter out all the idiots, but hey, that's not Yahoo's fault.
I hope the moderators see this question and give me extra points.

Gosh I hope people don't get all their information from Yahoo Answers!!! You're right, there are some real idiots here.

However, you are on point about the different views expressed here. Have you ever asked a question and felt one way - then read someone's answer and saw your situation in a whole new light? I have and I think that's the best part.

YA couldn't begin to be the source of all knowledge, but I think that some people think it is! I do find this place very helpful, and it's better than just asking someone in the street.

we can learn here, but i think it is more especially a place for us to air our views pretty much anonymously! and it is fabulous to learn about how so many different people think, and their opinions on issues. i like it
