YES! Do it tactfully though. I've had overly aggresive women ask me out.... ..... and for other things.... wow. What a compliment.... yet what a turn off to be PURSUED or harassed. I felt bad for women.... I can't imagine having to put up with that more than once or twice.
It's nice for a gal to make it easy for a guy... you dont have to ask us out... just let us know you like us...in obvious ways. We will get the hint and ask you out if we are interested (this protects you from putting too much on the line if he ends up saying no).

Absolutely, you may never know what could have been if you don't and he doesn't.
He may be shy, alternatively he may have other options and may be biding his time but when asked be delighted to go out with you.
You never know it could be a real connection, we are only on this planet once !!! Better to find out than not to know !
If the worst comes to the worst and he says no, it's better you know and can find someone who is ready to receive your love.
I heard someone much wiser and older than me say you don't regret the ones you kissed, just the ones you didn't !!!
People (including myself) are so silly about love, relationships and are often sooo scared of the opposite sex. This gets magnified when we really like someone. Have courage...go for it girl.

Yes. I actually prefer it. I don't have that much skill with girls(very shy), so it's always a good thing when they get the hard part done and take the first step. Perfectly ok. Besides, theres always talk about equality for women right? Equalize the dating field! =)

Yes girl, it's perfectly fine to ask the guy out. I cant speak for all guys, but i find it attractive for a women to be upfront about what she wants. If you want to go out with some guy then ask him, I'm sure he wont mind one bit. Good luck and have fun.

Hell yes its okay. When someone askes you for a date it makes you feel good. Why not go ahead and make someone feel good ask him out.

Yeah sure I don't see anything wrong with that. Women do everything a man does now we work we take care of our self's why would it be awkward for a women to ask a guy out.

Heck, I not only asked my Guy out on a date, I told Him, that I wanted to Marry Him-He Drives Me Crazy!!!!!!!! So, To answer you, YES it's acceptable to do that now days.

I think it's a great idea. Just keep it casual for the first date. Invite him to do something that you'd both enjoy and have a blast.
