2) deport any illegals back to their home of origin

3) punish anyone who harbors or rents or sells a home to an illegal

4) deny illegal immigrant any federally funded assistance

5) repeal any law that states a baby born on USA soil is automatically a citizen. That baby MUST have at least one parent who is a legal USA cititzen.

6) finish building the fence

7) Make it a FELONY to enter the USA undocumented.

8) MILITARIZE the border.

9) decrease the number of ALL immigrants entering the USA, until we can get our economy back in the black (not red)

10) Penalize their country of origin for funds those illegals cost the USA..repayment of any taxes they owe us, repayment of any federal assistance they received, fine that country for encouraging illegals to enter the USA.

I'm going to have to agree with "sprawlkills". It would be much more cost effective to try and stop employers from hiring illegals. I can't really say I blame them for trying to enter this country in whatever way they can. I guess if I was trying to support a family with no means of income and living in a one room shack I'd do what I had to do to support my family. It's a tough problem and I don't pretend to know all the answers but I think the link sprawlkills posted has some decent thoughts on the subject.

The solution of illegal immigration is crystal clear: make employers of illegal immigrants subject to severe fines and imprisonment. Illegal employers, not illegal immigrants, are the core problem.

Very simple, Make it illegal for anyone to hire undocumented workers, not just a fine/penalty, some jail time added too. This way the job market will dry up for illegal aliens, they will go home.
Also anyone born in the US to illegal alien parent/s are NOT automatically American citizens. They are to be considered natives of the country of the which their parents belong.

Many problems could be /lessened/ by ability of reducing the prevelene of unlawful immigration. yet you could no longer anticipate to one hundred% 'remedy' any subject interior the ordinary public coverage area. they're in basic terms too intractible. you could cut back a topic, or make progression or regardless of, yet outright recommendations are elusive to declare the least. unlawful immigration contributes to many problems: strained infrastructure, depressed wages, unemployment, undesirable schoolastic overall performance, drugs, identity theft, and crime in genneral, etc. reducing unlawful immigration could be efficient in combatting all those problems, yet even thoroughly removing unlawful (or perhaps all) immigration, would not 'remedy' them thoroughly.

Accelerated citizenship for illegals and family already in country by a completing a conditional military tour of duty combined with tightening of the borders. Most Mexican illegals are young men capable of military duty. This would quickly develop patriotism in them which is what we need; we need Americans, not transplanted illegals.

A hemispheric open border policy.

No restrictions put anywhere from Nome to Patagonia, anybody that wants to move anywhere in America can do so, something akin to what the European Union is creating.

Originally lots of people would move from one area to another creating (what to some would seem like) havoc but in the end the free unrestricted market would create a higher standard of living for everybody in America. And since a free economy can only sustain so many eventually people would realize they were better off in Nicaragua that they are in Montana and so they would pack up and move back home. Some would stay but many Canadians and United Statesians would decide to move to Bariloche or some such place.

I would allow the free market to work its wonders.

Unless citizenship is achieved, the country which harbored the illigal immigrant should be fined with each incident say 10,000 dollars, until they spend their own money to solve the problem. You dont see U.S. citizens wetbacking over there do you? Its because they are a lazy *** country with no moral.Perhaps they should simply render the country to the U.S.A. for complete overhaul, some of their residents live like dogs. Pathetic.

Guest worker program.

Immigrants come here to work. If they had the capability to work for the season then return to their homelands, the majority would go back to their countries of origin and return next work season.
