The "myth" is not a myth and should not be misconstrued as such. Immigrants as a whole whether legal or illegal are still immigrants to this country. Every American citizen except those of American Indian ancestry are descendants of immigrants. People have been pouring into this country for hundreds of years and have put their backs to the task of expanding this great nation. Illegals just want what everyone else wants, freedom from oppression, the chance to make a good living and to provide for the family. It's not much to ask really.

The myth probabbly came from them,, afterall the are too lazy to become legitimate citizens.

And the fact that they are in fact hard workers but do a very bad job in most cases..

Plus I know personally of several pretending to be illegal just to get jobs..

There are cases of some talented illegals getting highend jobs too btw, We had 5 of those at Rockwell International in Tulsa OK

Well, saying that they are the hardwest working force in history really sounds like an exageration, it definitelly is, on what standard can it be measured? Only against our present circumstance. But, however....
They are hard working people, and this can't be denied: just look at them work under the sun on freeways, homes, fields, and so. I feel exhausted just by looking at them. the funny thing is that always the guy in helmet, refreshed and on his truck, overseing them is an Anglosaxon. i mean, not genralizing, but most frequently. Anyways, that's not teh point, the point is that they do work and really hard.

From what I have seen, they may be working hard .. but they don't work WELL! It stands to reason that if they don't have any training in what they are doing, the result is going to come out less than satisfactory, whether they work hard at it or not .... I have seen them do painting and tiling in a friend's house (yes, I told her it's her own ruddy fault for hiring illegals!!), and doing it so poorly she had to have a proper firm coming and setting it right ... I've seen them attempting to clean and resurface a swimming pool with disastrous results ... I've seen them in the neighborhood posing as landscape gardeners chopping down the wrong trees ... hard work is one thing, doing it right is another ... as you say, you get what you pay for ... even if I wasn't against illegals on principle I would never hire one after seeing what they produce ....

there only illegal if they have no paper's. but no they can be lazy also. i have worked with them miny years. mex, they want the american boss to think there harder and better workers then the americans. some get really pissed if you work better then they do. once a mexican man told me f--k the americans. i told him to go home if they did't like us. he said i have paper's. i told him to wipe his a-- with them papers. they only allow him to work here. after work he's suppose to go home. i've also hurd them(men) refer to the american women as whores. because they like the mexican men. but what do you say about the mexican women that run after the american men with there toungs hanging out. we americans would most likely stop being so angry if these people would stop coming here and getting every thing free. they get more help then we do. stop taking jobs that pay low. and start respecting the americans. and start paying taxes like the american people do. if you don't like us then stop having your baby's here, stop runnung after the women here. and go the hell home to your own country. the u.s gov should put a stop to making there baby's american citizen's when they there selve's are not legal.
