To be more specific I have grown attached to the 608 and I know there are people who have 407's in New York so I was wounding if I can bring my 608 to New York. It's a great car.

to do so would be expensive...between the DOT, EPA, and Customs, not including shipping, you're looking at $5k++

Why would anyone try??? How about a Yugo, a Renault, or a Citroen? Maybe a Fiat, or a Lancia? These all all brands that have failed and if you do have one good luck in getting parts, etc., although I wouldn't mind having a Renault R3 rally car.

Nobody wants a sissy French car in the US.

They pulled out of the US in the 80's because of dwindling market share. They built f-ugly cars, they still build f-ugly cars.

In order for it to come across our borders it must meet federal Crash Safety standards, emissions standards, style standards etc... You are better off moving to France.

The real question here is -- why would you want another piece of sh*t French car on our highways?
