I am trying to do my best at understanding islam as a new friend of mine happens to be muslim... So i was wondering in your own words what is the best part of the religon for you???

islam is not a religion its the complete way of life. i'm a muslim girl alhamdullilah.islam tells u what all u have to do in ur day to day life clearly.
in islam we are adviced to drink water in the sitting posture. but scientifically it has been proved that when u drink water or any liquids in the standing posture the stones are formed in the kidney.i think this the lovely example to prove for that islam is not a religion and its the way of life.

not much . As another said it also a way of life it tells them what to do how to think
to kill all non belives as it please allah and the get all thease virgin birides.
Depending on which veriosn you follow the are Shities Shias and sacsts with in both versions .
all of them hate each other.
unitll it comes ot the USA
and Isreal they hate us simply because we exist and thier ayatohalas mullas and Inamns tell them we areevil and the "great satan"
they needa lng look in the mirror.
It was repusive to see them cheering after9 11
So no there is not much good about it . They are supossed to give a percetage of ther income ot help the needy meaning the terroists wgho ned more weapons Ever Islamic Charity in theUS has been cuaght giveing money to terrorist organzation

To tell you the truth, the best part of a religion will not save you, that is why the muslim terrorist are killing people, it is probably because the best part of being a muslim, is that when you die, you will get 72 virgins and a lot of wealth, if you kill innocent people. The best part of that religion to me is not to blindly believe everything that Allah says to do, use your common sense and good judgment. So that you don't become a religious fanatic or a terrorist, not that all muslims are terrorist, but they seem to have a lot of religious fanatics

Islam acctually is a religion based on love... love for their lord Allah. Islam believes in one, a monotheistic religion. The beliefs of Jesus, is him as a prophet not the son of God... They also believe in many prophets but the last one amoung them was Mohammed who brought down the last relevation, the Quran. The study of Islam is interesting and corrdinates well with any question and doubt that anyone may have... thats why it is said that in Europe, the dominating religion will be Islam by the year 2030.

The part where they kill themselves in the false belief of winning 72 virgins in Heaven... makes for less of them on earth.....
Sorry - thats a bit intolerant. But I have a hard time acccepting a religion that claims it is for peace, then turns around and calls for the beheading of any non-beleivers....
