yeah, she sounds nervous.
she might sense another 'being' is in the midst.
she is just excited & nervous. Try taking her to a trainer, or since you might have to save your money now, take her on very long walks so she tires & wont have energy to fight you.
by the way...congrats!

Dogs can sense how you feel like when you are scared or angry and they can also sence when there is something wrong with your body. Imagine being able to smell 1400 times better than you do right now. That is how much more a dog can smell things than us. They are finding out lately that dogs can be used to detect cancer not that you have cancer. Dogs can also sence when thier owner is pregnant since your hormones change and they can smell the change and her being a female she probably isnt to happy about the idea of another female being pregnant in her house. Females arent really known for marking thier territory but once they start peeing someplace if you dont get all the smell out she will keep peeing there. Dont forget even if you cant smell it she probably can. Dont use any type of cleaners that contain ammonia or bleach both will make her want to pee there all the more. When she snaps at you dont back down from her get a hold of her snoot and look her in the eyes and tell her no then let go and sit down and call her to come to you . Since she has a weak bladder at least for awhile to make sure she doesnt continue to pee in the house they sell doggy diapers . They will save you alot of work and could even help her with her bladder since she wont like the wet feeling if she pees with the diaper on and will try to use her muscles more to hold it. Dont wait until she pees in the diaper take it off like every couple hours outside so she can go where she is supposed to go. They also sell pads to put on the floor but that only is going to give her the idea that it is ok to pee in the house. It would be a good idea to get her checked out at the vet. Since she could have a bladder infection and isnt feeling good and that is what is making her snap at you. I hope she is ok and that also what it was you found out is something good.

Get the dog to a vet! Any time there is a sudden change in a dog's behavior you need to check things out. If she is suddenly peeing all over the place, she may have a bladder or uriniary tract infection, which if you have ever had one you know it hurts, and that could expain the biting.
On the other hand, you mentioned that you "just found something out". Are you and your husband acting really tense, yelling and snapping at each other (and the dog)? If you are suddenly changing your behavior, it could definitely make her insecure and fearful. She may empty her bladder if she is afraid and trying to show submission. She may bite if she is fearful. And if you are then babying her when she does these behaviors, she learns that doing it will get you to stop fussing and give her attention.
Eliminate possible medical problems and correct your behavior and the problems should take care of themselves.

Yes, dogs have more advanced smelling and hearing receptors than humans but they do poorly with sight that we humans rely more on.
And yes they do mark their territory by peeing. This is more noticeable if the dog moved into a new location or trying to reclaim it after a stranger has been to it's space (animal or human).
However the behavior of your dog is not necessarily cause by something it “sensed” externally, rather it can be something that is bothering it inside (the bladder issue is a good start to look into)
So I suggest you don’t freak out as much as the dog but call or take it to a Vet.

I think that they can sense things ahead of time. There are all kinds of changes I see with my dogs.
When coyotes are nearby and not even around our pastures, they all go lay down curled up without making a sound (which is rare because out in the country they have alot of things to bark at.) Before the Hurricane hit our area last year, they were all bunched up again inside our house.
And before any sign of thunder, we have a dog that gets all nervous and scratches the door to come in, a few minutes later the thunder/lightning/rain starts.
Our horses also go and hide under trees or in their stalls before something directly occurs with the weather. (Your dog peeing is a sign that something is making her nervous....not just a weak bladder, and female dogs don't mark their territory.) I don't know where you are located, but I would guess there is something in the weather or environment that is changing for her to get tense.

First, take her to the vet to be certain there is nothing physically wrong that may be causing her pain or discomfort. Dogs are much more aware of things than humans. Their sense of smell for example is much more Kean the ours. If we walk into a Burger King, we will smell hamburgers. A dog will smell the meat, the spices, the cheese, etc. Also, they can detect changes in the weather and have been rumored to react to earthquakes before we know about them. Have either you or your husband been using a new cologne? Have either of you been somewhere where you never have been before, perhaps around someone who is sick? When all else fails, call the vet. Good luck!

Dogs and cats can be amazing. They do sense it when you have something going on.
If your dog is picking up some kind of nervous vibes from you, particularly if they're not happy vibes, the dog can pick that up. Maybe she's just kind of frazzled if your mood or the mood in the house has changed.
She may more be upset than marking her territory (as far as I've seen when it comes to dogs). Try making it a point to keep calm, help her feel calm, and try, if possible, to talk to her in a soft but cheerful way. I could be wrong about this (as far as whether it applies to your dog), but there's the chance that she's doing what animals do when they sense nervousness in the air, and that's that they get a little nervous and edgy and even do little things that seem aggressive but that are really coming from fear.
Try to make sure the dog has some food that has a little more fat in it, because that's calming.
My dog who never, ever, had accidents had a few "accidents" when a particularly loud, insensitive, non-animal-loving inlaw was around.
Of course, there's always the chance you dog has a health problem and is in some kind of pain. They don't always make noises to indicate pain.
Either way, just try to keep her calm and try to make her feel safe and secure and not threatened. It can't hurt. It may help. The problem may pass as quickly as it came....

Dogs have a keen sense of smell and they can also sense emotions. That's why they tend to bite some and not others. You probably found out you were pregnant. I could be wrong, but that is the most common. That and after a baby comes. Usually that's when a dog would start acting out of the ordinary. Especially if they are usually spoiled.

I think part of the answer lies in what you and your husband found out. Did you find out you are pregnant? If so congrats! and yes your dog can tell something new is round and about. If a dog's smelling sensories are 25% more than that of a human, then it only stands to reason they can sense things we can not. As with everyone else's suggestion, I would have your pet checked at a vet's office to see if she has a bladder infection. If you are pregnant, she may even sense that she will have another in which to protect. Never know with dogs.

YES absolutely, they sense lots of things we don't. We had a dog once that didn't like air balloons and could tell they were coming miles and miles away and would bark off into the sky at nothing....FOR HOURS AND HOURS...arg I don't miss that (shh)
Remain consistent with your training, and be sure to not let her get away with the biting - that is never acceptable no matter what is troubling her, and go back to pretending she is a puppy and start training again.
Maybe something has happened to scare her that you are not aware of.... kids been around..... or new people.....maybe? She isnt by chance a young dog going into her first heat cycle....maybe she doesnt know what is wrong either.
Best of luck, I hope everything turns out for you.
