I heard somethig about needing a passport to go to canada in the near future.

No you don't! Puerto Rico is a U.S. Commonwealth territory, so absolutely do not need a passport if you're an American citizen, just a driver's license or some kind of regular I.D. Puerto Ricans are American citizens as well, so they do not need a passport to travel to the states, as well! Do have fun and enjoy your trip because Puerto Rico is a very beautiful, nice, and enchanting island!

As of this moment no, but If I'm not mistaken, as of December of this year you're going to need a passport to anywhere. Domestic or International. Look into it!

No, it is a US territory. A birth certificate or drivers license will work.

If you are an american citizen, you just need your driver's liscence and your ticket!!!!! Have fun on your trip ;)
