You go to church every Sunday for two hours and play video games, and books on evolution will be the new Bible!

That is an oxymoron. An atheist church is a planetarium or a museum. You know, a place with science, history and evidence that we can learn from and enjoy enriching our minds. Don't worry, we allow all other people who are not atheists, but want to learn, inside too. Aren't we nice?

Isn't that an oxymoron? How can you start a church for a people who don't believe in the existence of a higher Power? The word "atheism" literally means "no God", so I don't see the point!

Id love to join up. However, good luck with that - the State of Texas has refused to provide tax exempt status to Atheists, as they claim that Churches are only for the worship of God....

So, once again, there is mainstream Catholicism discriminating and oppressing anyone who beleives contrary to their ways....just look at the negative responses - an Atheist Church would simply be a house of Sin??? WTF? As an Atheist, I bet I am morally superior than 3/4 of the CHristians on this site.

Why would you call it a church in the first place? And what would you base your beliefs on?
