I keep hearing "God did not make Adam and Steve" - - so who made Steve? I happen to know some Steve's so they exist - is this the Christian's telling us they believe there is another God with power to create life?

No. That phrase is just a catchy little phrase that those who don't agree with homosexuality made up to explain why God didn't intend for humans to be homosexual. It's a play on words - God created Adam and Eve (man and woman) to be together; if he had wanted two men to be together, he would have created Adam and Steve instead.

I think if Adam wants to be with Steve then he should be able to. And if eve wants to get with admira, then she can. Its really not up to the christians who dates or marrys who. Its up to that person. And maybe they are saying they believe there is another god with power to create life. Or, Maybe we really did evolve and there is a chance that god does not exist. Just a thought.

No this is just a phrase that shows that creation and marriage started with one man and one woman. Since God created them and said "it was good", then we should be able to see that homosexuality is not the way life is supposed to be.

Here is what the Bible says about homosexuality.

In Genesis 19:1-29 the cities of Sodom and Gommorah were destroyed because the people were so wicked. The men of the city wanted to have sex with other men. So God's judgement on the city was to destroy it by raining down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah.

Leviticus 18:22 (speaking to men in Israel) "Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable."

Leviticus 20:13 "If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."

Romans 1:26-27 "Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion."

1 Corinthians 6:9 "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexual offenders...will inhereit the kingdom of God."

1 Corinthians 6:13 "The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body."

1 Timothy 1:8-10 "We know that the law is good if one uses it properly. We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers."
