Sometimes for some people but not most. If your relying on the Internet for love most likely your not going to find it before you have to put up with a lot of games, and I mean a lot. You can be just as heart broken by Internet love as by one you meet elsewhere if not worse. I don't suggest love just friendship.

Well, I've been seeing my online sweetie for over 5 months now. We met online and emailed, IM'd, and talked on the phone for about a week before we met in person. We've been together ever since and we both took our profiles off the site a week or two into the relationship. Online dating can be great.....just keep your search area for local singles, no point in trying for long distance relationships, and have fun. There are several sites that are on TV often....I ended up on a local sight for the Houston area. But I had also tried the more popular national sites too. Just take it for what it is which is just another way to meet people without having to troll through smoked filled bars full of people looking for an easy hook-up. And yes, people can lie and post fake pictures and all of those terrible things that you hear about, but people can also lie to you face to face. So try it....you have nothing to lose by giving it a shot!

ok..ive met my girlfriend on some text/chatroom on a cellphone!!!!!!who woulda thought you know. anything is possible and if someone can get love on something like i did...you definatly got a big chance to get love on the internet (which is a great way to meet single girls especially if your a lil shy). ummmm just google dating or something like that and off you go.....

MY BESTFRIEND MET HER LOVE ON THE INTERNET. THEY HAVE BEEN TOGETHER ALMOST TEN YEARS. THEY HAVE A SON AND ANOTHER BABY ON THE WAY. THEY ARE HAPPY AND VERY MUCH IN-LOVE. LOVE WILL COME YOUR WAY DON'T RUSH IT.
