It could be risky meeting some-one online but it is risky to cross the road and yet people do it every day.
The chances that he is an axe murderer are pretty slim, you could meet him or some-one else but make sure you do all the necessary things to keep yourself safe.
From what you say he does sound like a sleaze and I guess it would make sense for me to say avoid him like the plague. However the internet is a wierd way to communicate with some-one. Just because he has arranged a possible meet with some-one for sex does not mean he is a sex fiend. Likewise if he had posted a question informing every-one how he wanted world peace and his love of kittens would not make him a nice person.
Give him a chance and maybe give him a call. If you were prepared to meet him then talking to him over the phone should give you an idea if you click.

i have to admit i took a chance and met a guy from the Internet and it worked out well,we've been 2gether just over a year we bought in 2gether march this year,we r trying for a little one and getting married march nxt yr so it worked out fine for me but it doesn't always go that way. if all he's after is a shag then kick him to the curb he's not worth knowing find a guy that wants u for u.

Leave him alone he obviously doesn't respect you and isn't worth your time you deserve better. Stay away from guys you meet on the net. Most of the time no other girl who knows them woud want them and the net gives them the chance to be whatever they want and you won't know the true person only what they want you to think they are. He is a jerk......Run!

Maybe just maybe, he is speaking of something he done in the past and wondered if he was mad to drive that far to see someone he fancied. Maybe he started dating this girl for 3 years and got treated like a piece of poo. Maybe he was just wondering if anyone else done the same or would. Maybe then he isn't stupid after all, i mean he knows you use this site right? Why shoot himself in the foot? Or maybe, you're shooting yourself in the foot? ooooooooooh the drama lol x

How do you know he wasn't asking on behalf of a friend. You really don't know anything about him except how you feel. Just go with the flow and have fun but make sure you keep your wits about you and don't be led into anything which would make you uncomfortable. Always make sure some of your friends know exactly where you are whenever you see him and you should be safe

I don't think relationships formed through the internet isn't healthy. A lot of guys form false relationships online just for fun. I'd say its anoyying for a guy to say, can you be my girlfriend?
Don't fall for men that swear, the're just some sick and bored bastards...
Anyways, naah forget about a guy like that, he's not worth your time and effort spent thinking about your problem.

Best advice. try meeting people at college or church or in a club, not over the internet. this guy could be a murderer or a rapist. and by the sound of things, he only wnts girls so he can use and abuse tham.SADIST. nogood. if he emails you, don't reply. You are worth so much more thatn this.

If you like him, meet him and tell him you saw the question. Decide what to do from his face to face reaction. If you're looking for an excuse not to meet him, then use the question.... Your call.
