the person who did this was my neice's stepfather this sicko raised her since the age of 2 and didn't think twice about violating her at the age of 12,inpregnanated at age of 16 and forced to have the baby.now my neice is 20, the baby is 2yrs old and the criminal is behind bars please we need help a.s.a.p court is on October

You need to hve a meeting with the DA that handled the case. This person was probably pi55ed with the liberal judges. If you do this, you have a better chance to keep the rat behind bars. You will have a little power on your side.

Best advice is to keep your family emotionally strong. Unfortunately you may need to retain an attorney, but do not place any value on a lawyer to help you keep this man behind bars. Never thought I would believe the ACTUAL truth surrounding every bad, unethical, useless lawyer joke around. Make sure you do your own research about your rights!!!
Do not rely on the lawyer to get you through this, just take any opportunity to make your family satisfied with finding your internal justice!!

Talk with the clerk of courts they may have a list of attorneys that do this work for free or even the DA or prosicuter's office they may know too. Or just call some lawyers and ask them if they would be willing to take this case probnono.

your state district atty. should b handling this. malso contact childrens advocasy agcy. the state should provide atty. 4 u. if not go 2 newspapers and tv 2 push 4 help.

call a rape crises hot line,and tell them and see if they can get a lawyer, or know what you can do. if you can,t find the number for the crisses center call the police they maybe able to give you the number

use your telephone book seek out a lawyer. contact your local bar association ....NOT all lawyers do pro bono work and you shouldn't expect a FREEbie...if your niece's case is worth defending you shouldn't let $$$ be your obstacle. What is it worth to your family to have this guy put into prison? Child abuse and child molestation shouldn't be tolerated and you should do what ever it takes to have this guy prosecuted!!!
