No more Witch/Wicca/pagan bashing now.....
After all, for a long time in the beginning the most likely place to find a "witch" or pagan was in a dungeon or being burnt at the stake.....
Witches have had to fight for their beliefs the old fashioned way;
Christians on the other hand wake up one day and decide that all we believe is evil so we must be converted or killed.
It is much easier to kill in the name of your god while standing there holding the torch with a self righteous grin than to admit that not everyone believes the same as you do, wouldn't you say....
Just showing how your statements can be applied to most any religion.

lol Yes...yes it is...
So much so in fact, I've thought about putting in a request to my boss to let me be an atheist from home, rather than having to haul my butt into work everyday.
I try not to bash Christians randomly....I prefer there to be some intent behind it.
And while there are plenty of good Christians leading positive lives of good impact out there, I'll leave you with this thought:
In the Beginning there was the Dogmatist. And the Dogmatist was of God, and with God. And God saw that it was bloody boring. And so He in His infinite wisdom created a second Dogmatist. But the Lord was really quite new at all this, and He realised that two Dogmatists are actually twice as boring as one. So the Lord scratched His mighty chin, and had a brainwave. And He did bash the two Dogmatists together one, twice, thrice, and on the third stroke, their minds cracked open.
And there was a very big bang.
And the minds of the Dogmatists, which had been closed before, were now opened, and from their imagination and enthusiasm, with admittedly a little bit of primeval matter thrown in for good measure, was the universe of possibility and wonder born.
And the Lord saw that occasionally bashing a couple of Dogmatists can have very positive results. And it was Good.

Hey now.. don't underestimate the challenges of being an atheist. Standing in the kitchen in your underpants may not involve a masticating feline, but it can be distracting in its own ways. What are the odds of having an epiphany when you answer the door for the mail carrier and your undies slip?? Trust me, there's nothing spiritually enlightening about showing your knackers off to another man. I can tell you that.. although not from experience.

Inside a lion, true. Christianity has come a long way since then. They used to be the persecuted. Now they think they are while they are doing the persecuting.
Don't get me wrong, not all of them are like that, though, just the ones that go to church.:)

I'm all for a bit of Christian bashing. After all, if your faith is strong enough, it won't be affected. 'Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.' So-called Christians seem to think Muslim bashing is OK. If Christians didn't always rise to the bait, then may be Muslims would become a little more laid back.

Easier, yes. but it is not effective. Ask around in America, India, and China if they know any Christians. You'd be suprised at how many people say no in America and yes in India and China. In other words, when Christians are persecuted because of their faith in Christ, more people come to christ because of someone else's persecution.
