I would use a ball. It will help elevate pressure on you lower back. You can use your hands to help support you head and neck. Also if you join a gym they have machines to do abb work with little to no impact on your lower back and neck.

Those ab thingies they sell on TV are completely useless - don't waste your money. A stability ball would give support to the back like an earlier answerer mentioned... you can also do simple exercises like the following to help flatten a stomach:

Get on floor on all fours - hands underneath shoulders, knees underneath hips. Maintain a straight spine. Using your stomach muscles, pull your bellybutton in as tightly as you can and hold for 30 seconds. Be careful not to arch your back or move the ribs - you want to isolate just the stomach. Do this a few times a day and work up to a minute.

Neither. you're able to do crunches yet once you have neck issues they are not cautioned. I do take a seat-united stateson a sort of enormous workout balls. I additionally use a weight for resistance. Works for me!
