depends on if you like it or not. i was the second fastest on my track team and the best at long distance. my track team had some intense training. we had to run 3 miles a day on the track and then do all sorts of running and field events. its tough but its worth it in the end. the kid that was faster than me fooled off too much so in the end i got faster and i beat him. good luck to u.

If you like to run, then even if your not a long distance runner, i would join. You will eventually become better at running long distances.

track takes commitment as any sport will...you have to be willing to give up most if not all of your free time for it...and if you are willing then good luck...if not then join the crowd...I was good in sports in HS but never joined a team

my opinion would be that u should try whether u can do it or not it doesn't matter.Keep on trying in whatever field may be then u will see in what field your interests lie or your talents are and in trying your are not gonna lose anything moreover when u participate in different things u will start to respect urself and be more confident of urself
