No but it does act as a protein conditioner, making your hair stronger. Unless you add something else to henna, henna alone doesn't prevent hair loss. Trust me, I have seen many Indian ladies with sparse hair and they continue to use henna.

Yes, Henna helps stabilise the hair and it is healthy but it will make your hair as red as rabbits. If you don't mind the colour..always better than no hair at all.

I know henna it is good for color, but If you really want to try something natural use aloe vera , buy a plant and cut one leaf, then pour the juice in your favorite shampoo and use it daily , you will see the difference in one month.
