Alright. I'm a little confused. I want to own automatic weapons. Just to go out and have fun with them, ranges, etc. I don't Own a gun store, nor do I want to. Do I need a Class 3 or an FFL? which one, and what's the difference. (America)

You do not need an FFl of any kind although a Curio & Relics FFL can save you some money if the full-auto gun you choose is at least fifty years old or is on the ATF's C&R list. The C&R FFL allows you to have the firearm delivered directly to your house. This will save the costs involved in going through a Class 3 dealer which can be upwards of $200 to $600 over and above the $200 transfer tax that you have to pay the ATF. This FFl is well worth the license fee of $30 every 3 years.

You will need to fill out a Form 4 and have your Police Chief, Sheriff or other chief law enforcement officer (CLEO) sign the form. With the form you will also have to include an ATF approved finger print card and a citizenship certification form. Summit these forms and a check for $200 (this is a one time only fee), if you are approved and there are no state or local laws prohibiting the firearm, you will be able to take possession of your machine gun in 2-6 months.

Neither. You only have to have a class III or FFL to deal in said firearms. A class III dealer does have to broker the deal, however, and they will take care of the legalities. Local law enforcement has to approve the transfer, and an excise tax of $200 must be payed to the federal government. It is not uncommon for the entire transaction to take 4 months, as there are background checks and loads of redtape to wade through.
