Go get ION (eye on) Brand of Hard Water Shampoo and you need a pack of the ION Clarifying Crystals to take it out. Use the Crystals first, then the shampoo to keep it off. It comes also with a conditioner. ION is an AWESOME product. You can get this at Sally Beauty Supply.

Get a clarifying shampoo called ION or some other brand but it must be a clarifying shampoo.

i used to have that problem, even though i have brown hair - iron would turn my hair slightly red. i used Malibu shampoo and conditioner, and they have these little powder packets that you mix with the shampoo/conditioner that get the iron out. mine was given to me by my hairdresser and it worked really well, so you might want to ask yours about it. they also have little Malibu packets that get the chlorine out of your hair after swimming too.

Have you tried clarifying shampoo? I also hear about a tablespoon of baking soda once in awhile in shampoo helps. good luck!
