And remember only check once a week on the weight, and I like first thing in the morning.

The way you see yourself..... I started an exercise class and diet to loose weight.. Looking in the mirror and seeing the difference made me feel good. But, when I went to the doctor and got weighed I had actualy gain weight. That is when he told me that Muscle weighes more than fat.. As u burn off fat, u produce muscle... So .. Don't even bother with the scale... Just a full size mirror will do. BTW:
Don't nit pick at yourself... Everyday look in the mirror and find something u like about yourself. Instead of finding something you don't. Depression is the number one reason why people fail to loose weight.

The scale. You can lose weight and not see a major difference in your waist line measurment, if you're dieting without exercising.

Waist line, or just body measurements in general. The scale has no way of knowing what is muscle and what is fat. Losing inches, shows you that you have lost fat, checking yourself on the scales may show that you have lost muscle (and fat). Go by how your clothes fit. Take care : )

Waist line (and other measurements) absolutely.

After all, what is the main reason most people want to lose weight? Be honest....it's to look better, right? And when your waistline and other body parts are shrinking, you look better regardless of what the scale says.

And for those few who simply want to lose weight to be healthier, that works too because if you're shrinking and not losing weight, it means you're losing fat and building muscle, and that's certainly healthier.

waist line because you are toning up and it shows. Everything will follow. When your clothes become baggy it feels great . You don't always notice a difference that you see on the scale. The mirror is the trick.

waist line is better because you actually see the fat you lose... The problem with scales if you are doing any kind of exercises..., especially weight training..., you gain muscle..., and muscle's weight is higher than fat...

What is best if you take measurements from all over...

Good luck...
