If they are 6 weeks then you already should be weening them and giving them hard/soft food which is what is causing their soft stool. Since you already went to the vet then you know they are healthy and there is really nothing major for you to worry about. So here is my advice : go to your regular pet store and put them on only hard food , make sure it is a good name brand. I prefer Science diet puppy but purina and pedigree are good too. Of they are still sucking on there mother then you are still going to get the soft stool so separate them or keep a really close eye on them and teach them to stop breast feeding. If the stool is diarrhea them you can give some rice or bread just to stop them up. I really do think it it their diet. If you have any more questions you can e-mail me alebubbiesander@yahoo.com

Go to your local Petsmart/Petco and ask to speak to a canine specialist. It's their diet that's causing the soft poop. If they've not yet been weened it's something the Mom is eating that's getting into her milk. The canine specialist can suggest the best food to feed.

At this age soft poop is normal, so unless you mean it's runny, you don't need to worry. Have they just started on puppy chow? If so, they may just need a little time to adjust.

Unless their stool is really runny, they don't need anything. They should be taken off Mothers milk, which can cause the problem. If they have diarrhea, give them Pepto Bismol liquid in an eye dropper. This will eleviate the problem.

Actually I am a vet, and these pets need to be seen right away, it sounds like they have the rare disease cytosm, which is a rectal disease only present in dogs. If you just let it go your pet will soon die, maby even in the next couple of days. the dog may have to be put down, this is a very costly procedure so you might want to just go ahead and do it your self. you can put antifreeze in its bowl or just use a gun to finish it off.

all dog poop is soft but if you mean diharrea then i have to say that it is probably what you are feeding them, thats what happenes when my shih tzu was little. it is probably the wet food that does it, i would start giving them hard food if you havent already.

It is very normal for both puppies and kittens to have soft poop at this age, there is nothing to worry about.
