the reason people play even when the odds are against them is bec. they are taking a gamble thats why they are there they are gambling so now you can comprehend why addicts will take the risk

Though I don't really consider it a "sport" more like hobby. I do consider it the same reasons people play sports. The odds are always against you. Just look at how random "perfect games", "no-hitters" in baseball... winning the superbowl in the NFL... not missing a shot in the NBA... hat trick in soccer/hockey... see what I mean??? It's the old "practice makes perfect" quote... except you have to be somewhat gullable to play sports I guess... to convince yourself perfection is attainable I mean.
