Barna Survey says no chanGe in the faith of Americans five years after 9/11 and one year after Katrina. Most Americans still believe GWB: "America is a nation under law", even though the Holy Bible thrice says "ye are not under the law, but under grace"; clarifying "if led of the Spirit". Not to mention "if any man have an ear, let him h-ear what the Spirit saith unto the churches" x 7; And what's spiritually said "unto the churches" is notably also Pauline written in Galatians, such as "the law is not of faith", and it's plainly "evident" from the evidence "that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God(Grace)".

Ceasar is dead.
God is not dead.
Time to render to God.

I'd really love to see more people who believe this act on it. I am not a Christian, but I met some truly excellent ones on my work trips to New Orleans post-Katrina--all with churches. It's good to see that there are still people who actually do something about what they believe.

Jesus said to render unto Caesar those things which are Caesars and unto God the things that are unto God.

We are a nation of laws and living under those laws provides us a stable society. It is the lawless that have created havoc both through terrorism and anarchy via Katrina.

However that being said , being a law abiding citizen has absolutely nothing to do with salvation.

You took that out of context-It meant the Ten commandments and all the other commandments in old testament-Grace was meant for Christians not the country.God also says "render under Ceasar what is Ceasar's and unto God that which is Gods"

In our spiritual lives, we are no longer under 'law'. God, in His love, shows us that we can't make it by following a bunch of rules, but we can make it by following the example of Jesus. If we love, truly, we can do anything because we are going to do what is best for ourselves and others. Remember that Jesus said that all authority comes from above. So, our government was placed by God's will. That means that the law of the government is placed by God. God also said to obey those in authority over you. This prevents chaos. Something to remember...

The United States of America is a country with manmade laws. (many of them based on Gods law) We are in fact under the authority of the US Government by virtue of our citizenship.

When Paul makes the references you mentioned, he is trying to tell the Jews and gentiles that they are no longer should be considered to be saved or justified by the Law of Moses but rather by the blood of Jesus Christ.

Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. -Romans 13:2

this might be a simplification

why is the antichrist called 'the man of lawlessness"?

we are justified apart from the law, but we are moved to somehow keep the spirit of the law in some sense

Obama seems clever and his plans make sense. additionally i'm able to locate no materials that time out his mum and dad have been drug addicts. He grew to become into raised from approximately age 8 or 9 via his grandma using fact his mom wanted him to be knowledgeable interior the U.S. and not Indonesia the place she and her husband (his step-dad) lived. appears like she grew to become into finding out for him.
