Until you find out what is wrong with you by going to the doctor. I have a suggestion that seems like it could be very helpful to you, its simple....Don't call anyone by their first name just say "hello" or just talk you don't have to call them by name. If I can't remember a persons name I just talk to them without mentioning their name. Make a habit of this until you find a different method or go see your doctor. Try to remember this Jamie...I mean Jackie....ummm Kathy?......Donna......Susan.."whatsyourname".

i forget things all the time. however, remember that if you spend a significant amount of time with someone (even seeing them more than a few time) it is truly insulting to keep referring to them by the wrong name. My boyfriend has two coworkers with 4 letter names starting with the same letter and I constantly swapped their names. One day he sat me down and we talked about the whole situation. For me, it is that I have a problem remembering names. For them, it appears that they are not "worth my time" remembering. It is unacceptable for you to get comfortable continuously referring to someone by the wrong name. You should definately seek some sort of help in case this is a bigger issue...

i dont mean to appear rude, but do you drink a lot i suffer from mild memory loss through alcohol abuse just simple things like names birthdays taking wrong steets walking home from the shop. but i know where the blame lies, plus i was in a car crash a while ago as well. head injury. have you had any knocks on the head?. dizzy spells headaches slurred speech numbness. look for a common factor and see the doc write down any symtom you have, you could have plain absent mindedness but best see the experts first

If you can still explain what you are doing, I think nothing wrong with you, but sometimes I don't remember what I took for my meal last night, and often confused with week days..

Keep in mind as we get older we can't remember as much. I like to look at it as we have soooo much more to remember now. Stressing over it only makes it worse. Relax
